Removing Load-Bearing Walls – Showing typical layouts with walls removed and supporting beams (RSJs) to maintain structural integrity. 5. Strengthening Floors and Joists – Showing new joists installed alongside existing ones to improve load-bearing capacity and prevent sagging. 6. Steel Frame Installations – Used in large-scale openings (such as wrap-around extensions) to provide stability when multiple walls are removed. 7. Staircase Reconfigurations – Structural modifications to change the staircase position or add a new stair opening in the floor. 8. Wall Openings for Bi-Fold or Sliding Doors – Widening external walls with steel lintels to install large glass doors. 9. Flat to Pitched Roof Conversions – Changing roof structures. 10.
