I seek an experienced quantity surveyor to perform material take-offs and budgetary analyses for small construction ventures located in Teddington and the surrounding areas.
On a monthly basis, site visits will be required to audit material usage and labour expenditures for 1-2 residential renovation or new build assignments.
Weekly conference calls together with site manager owner, and other key stakeholders for cost performance evaluations, ensure financial targets remain aligned with schedule milestones, and proactively identify needs for budget adjustments to optimize outcome.
The selected candidate should possess 3+ years of experience conducting quantitative assessments and cost control functions for similar scope building projects. Strong communication and analytical skills are necessary to methodically track spending, forecast expenditures, and keep all parties well-informed of budget status. The ability to travel independently to job locations within the local area is essential.
