I am adding a director to an existing company which has a mortgage, this means the new director will need to sign a deed of guarantee for the existing mortgage.
The mortgage company requires a SRA registered solicitor to give legal advice to the new director so they understand why they are signing a personal guarantee.
I'm not even sure if this is possible as the new director will need to sign the deed and I believe the solicitor will also need to sign so someone local between south Leeds to Doncaster would be ideal so this could be signed in person.
