Expected duration: 1 - 6 months We are looking for a Japan-based, Japanese-speaking freelancer to assist in organizing the business trip of a high-level delegation of five foreign delegates to Japan. The dates are 5-8 May 2025.
Job Responsibilities, before the business trip: - Scheduling Appointments: Arrange meetings with key stakeholders. - Supplier Management: Source and coordinate suppliers for essential services, including: - Transportation - Translation & Interpretation - Digital Design Services - General Coordination: Ensure seamless logistics and communication between all involved parties.
Job Responsibilities, during the business trip: - Back-office services to be on hand for any remote need during the business trip (for example, to make hotel booking changes, train ticket changes, coordination of suppliers, etc)
Requirements: - Fluent in Japanese and English. - Experience in event coordination, business meetings, or logistics. - Strong organizational skills. - Ability to work independently and meet deadlines. - Based in Japan and familiar with local business practices.
This is a freelance/temporary role, ideal for someone with a strong network in Japan and experience in coordinating business delegations. Starting mid-March and until mid-May.
