We are looking for a luxury T-shirt designer to join our team and help create iconic, high-quality designs that reflect the brand’s upscale image. The ideal candidate will have experience designing for luxury fashion brands and a strong understanding of contemporary fashion trends, color palettes, and high-end aesthetics. This role will involve conceptualizing and designing T-shirts that merge style, art, and culture in a way that speaks to our discerning clientele. Key Responsibilities:
Design Custom T-Shirts: Create unique, luxury T-shirt designs with a focus on high-quality graphics, fine art, and sophisticated patterns, suitable for our brand’s identity.
Trend Research & Concept Development: Stay updated on the latest trends in high fashion and luxury streetwear. Research emerging styles, colors, and themes to incorporate into designs that appeal to a high-end audience.
Brand Identity: Ensure designs are aligned with our brand’s luxurious, high-fashion aesthetic while pushing creative boundaries. Designs should have a sense of exclusivity, elegance, and sophistication.
Collaborate with the Design Team: Work closely with other members of the design team to ensure designs fit into the overall collection and complement other product lines.
Quality Control: Ensure that designs translate perfectly onto fabric and maintain their quality in production. Have an understanding of materials and how designs interact with different textiles.
Mock-ups & Product Development: Create mock-ups of designs on T-shirts and collaborate with the production team to ensure designs are printed correctly and meet the brand's high standards.
Qualifications:
Proven Experience: Previous experience designing luxury fashion pieces, preferably in T-shirt or apparel design for well-known brands or high-end boutiques.
Strong Portfolio: A portfolio showcasing a strong understanding of high-end fashion design, especially luxury T-shirts, streetwear, or contemporary fashion. (Please provide a link to your portfolio when applying).
Proficiency in Design Software: Expertise in design tools such as Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and other relevant software for creating vector and print-ready artwork.
Creative Vision: Ability to conceptualize creative, forward-thinking designs that feel luxurious, unique, and on-brand with the latest fashion trends.
Attention to Detail: A keen eye for detail and a deep understanding of color theory, texture, and how design elements come together in luxury fashion.
Understanding of Fabric and Print Techniques: Knowledge of various T-shirt fabrics, printing methods (such as screen printing, embroidery, and heat transfer), and how they affect the final design.
Fashion Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with luxury fashion brands like Casablanca, Balenciaga, Gucci, etc., and an understanding of what makes high-end fashion stand out.
Preferred Skills:
Experience working with luxury streetwear brands or within the fashion industry. A strong sense of cultural awareness and trends, drawing inspiration from art, music, travel, and global culture. An eye for creating timeless designs that remain relevant and luxurious over time.
