We’re looking for an enthusiastic individual to join the team on a freelance basis to support our sales and business development activities.
The role will involve helping the business to identify new prospects, generate qualified sales leads and book appointments with potential customers for the Sales Director and CEO to follow up.
This will include research, database searches, defining relevant criteria to select appropriate projects and contacts, administration of the process and setting reminders and alerts on relevant activities, making calls, sending emails and keeping records to manage contacts.
Key experience/skills required includes: • Ability to work alone against a set of criteria • Research experience, finding data and intelligence on prospects and relevant projects • Proficiency with administration and capturing data on spreadsheets • Methodical approach to research and recording outputs • Updating records and cleansing data • Confident telephone manner • Providing regular progress reports • Some knowledge of the construction sector, including heating networks, M&E contractors would be beneficial but not essential.
Access to a database of relevant projects and contacts will be provided, with guidance on key criteria for identifying relevant opportunities.
