Description:
We need a WordPress developer with Flatsome expertise to fix three urgent issues on our e-commerce site, https://coversmart.ch/, within a 10-hour timeframe. The navigation menu is missing, WPML components are outdated, and the Flatsome Child theme has incompatible WooCommerce templates. This fast-turnaround project requires completion by March 7, 2025.
Specific Jobs:
1. Fix Missing Navigation Menu (1 Hour)
- Restore the menu on https://coversmart.ch/ using Flatsome’s Header Builder. - Check WPML or W3 Total Cache (v2.8.6) conflicts affecting visibility.
2. Resolve Incomplete WPML Update (2 Hours)
- Update sitepress-multilingual-cms (v4.3.6) and wpml-string-translation (v3.0.6) to their latest versions from WPML.org. - Verify compatibility with woocommerce-multilingual (v5.3.9) and wpml-translation-management (v2.9.4).
- Replace 40+ outdated templates in Flatsome Child (e.g., archive-product.php v3.4.0, cart.php v3.7.0) with versions matching WooCommerce 9.7.0. - Reapply basic customizations and test Shop (#4009), Cart (#4010), and Checkout (#4011) pages.
4. Additional Tasks (1 Hour):
- Test menu, multilingual features, and WooCommerce flow post-fixes. - Clear W3 Total Cache to confirm updates are live.
Requirements:
- Strong experience with WordPress, Flatsome (v3.9.0 parent, v3.0 child), and WooCommerce (v9.7.0). - Skills in PHP, CSS, JS, and quick debugging (e.g., Header Builder, WPML issues). - Familiarity with WPML updates and child theme template overrides. - Access to FTP and admin required; WPML.org credentials provided. - Must complete within 10 hours by March 7, 2025.
