I require a script originally written in English to be professionally translated to Spanish. The script is around 1500 words and contains dialogue for three characters. It needs to fully and accurately convey the intent and story of the original English script while sounding natural and engaging for a Spanish-speaking audience.
The translation should demonstrate a strong command of both English and Spanish, preserving the tone, context and cultural nuances of the source material. Grammatically correct Spanish is essential along with maintaining consistency across character voices and styles of speech. Some sections include more informal dialogue while others utilize a formal register.
This is an entertainment script and therefore compelling delivery of the lines is important. The characters should seem authentic and true to how native Spanish speakers would naturally communicate. The finished work will be reviewed to ensure the translation achieves these professional standards before final approval.
Experience translating scripts or other creative works between these two languages is strongly preferred.
