I would like a logo and website that reflects the following: Design services, interior and exterior including planning - a place to showcase preliminary plans and project visual inspiration. Product selection - sofas, lighting, white goods with my logo and branding eg candles for clients to purchase after build project complete.
I'm a designer and am in the process of setting up my Shopify online store. The products that have been allocated to my store are dreadful and I am deleting the majority. I am setting up accounts with quality British manufacturer's who will drop ship to my British clients. I am concentrating on the UK atm due to the complexities of international taxes etc, I want to keep it simple. I want a logo which represents an elegant cool product lifestyle store, I will categorise quality products such as sofa's, lighting etc and also a white good collections such candles and beauty products so I want the logo to be versatile and stylish. Ref the palette, I'm inclined to opt for a rich sexy luxury feel, I do not want primary colours as they look cheap. I think Lifestyle should be in a signature font with the emphasise being on House 2 Home. I like the idea of the 2 being the pop, connecting the scene. I like deep blue steel, dark raspberry, metallic gun metal grey, dark sandstone gold, colours that are not widely used and look delicious together! I have a lot of work to do on my site but I have already started to tear it apart. I'm in the process of arranging accounts and selecting quality products that will appeal to a design conscious audience.
