We seek a skilled music promotion specialist to increase listenership of YOUR India-based retail and college radio station's (not internet radio) offerings of contemporary American hip hop and pop music programs. The successful candidate will have extensive experience promoting music genres from Western markets in South Asia. Their responsibilities will include developing and executing promotional strategies across multiple digital platforms to aggressively boost our listenership numbers and engagement metrics among Indian audiences aged 18-35 who appreciate international popular music. Promotions may include crafting catchy hashtag campaigns, engaging influencers on social media, running online contests/giveaways, and partnership opportunities with clubs/festivals to expose more Indian youth to the latest North American hit songs and artists. The candidate must have strong copywriting abilities in English to produce eye-catching and share-worthy promotional content. Experience working with radio stations or-music streaming platforms in Indiais highly valued. Results-oriented and able to start promptly. Must be authorization to work in India.
