I have an 8-page FAQ document that I provide to learners undertaking a Content Creator qualification, and I’d like to give it a visual upgrade. The goal is to make the document more engaging, fun, and easy to navigate, while still aligning with the company's branding (but with flexibility for creativity).
What I Need:
- A fresh, visually appealing layout that makes the document more fun and engaging for learners.
- Reordering of questions (if needed) to improve usability.
- Creation of original graphics, such as icons and small illustrations, that feel relevant to content creation.
- Brand-aligned colours and typography but with a playful touch.
- Improved formatting for clarity and readability, including making screenshots blend well with the new design.
- Final files delivered in a way that allows easy future edits (see requirements below).
Deliverables:
- Fully formatted and designed document:
- Supplied as an editable Word document (so graphics can be moved and text can be updated). - Must be exportable to PDF for distribution to learners. - Original design files for graphics & illustrations in a format I can edit myself in Affinity. - Ideal formats: SVG, EPS, or layered PSD (if applicable) for vector graphics/icons. - Copies of un-flattened/editable images—I need to be able to tweak them if needed e.g colours. - Aesthetic improvements to make the document fun, clear, and engaging.
Ideal Freelancer:
- Experienced in document formatting & layout design (especially for guides, workbooks, or educational materials).
- Strong graphic design skills to create custom icons/illustrations that align with the theme.
- Familiar with branding and can incorporate company colours while keeping the design fresh and fun.
- Proficient in delivering editable files in both Word and formats compatible with Affinity Designer/Publisher (SVG, EPS, or layered PSD files).
