We seek a skilled data analyst to help analyze our company's user data. The analyst will be tasked with extracting meaningful insights from our large customer databases to better understand customer behavior and purchasing patterns. This will involve sorting through terabytes of records detailing website visits, product views, purchases, returns and other transactional data from the past year.
The right candidate will have excellent skills in SQL, Excel and data visualization tools like Tableau. Proficiency with Python is a plus. The analyst will be expected to prepare detailed reports summarizing key trends, correlate metrics to identify influential factors, segment clients into subgroups, and forecast sales. Interactive dashboards may also need to be designed to communicate findings internally.
This is a short-term project lasting 6-8 weeks. The selected analyst will work remotely and have direct access to our cloud-based data warehouse. They must adhere to our strict privacy and confidentiality policies. We are looking for someone who can hit the ground running to deliver actionable conclusions and recommendations within tight deadlines. The ideal candidate will have 2-4 years of commercial experience analyzing complex datasets and translating numbers into compelling narratives for non-technical stakeholders. Familiarity with e-commerce or SaaS industries is an added advantage but not required.
