About the Role: I am looking for a reliable and tech-savvy freelance IT support specialist to provide in-person technical assistance for personal and business-related IT needs. This role requires someone based in or around Sheffield, as the work cannot be done remotely.
Key Responsibilities:
Setting up and maintaining computers, printers, and other devices Updating software and troubleshooting technical issues Syncing and managing data across devices (laptop, phone, tablet, etc.) Ensuring backups and security settings are correctly configured Providing guidance on basic tech skills and best practices Assisting with minor IT-related projects as needed
Ideal Candidate:
A female freelancer with experience in IT support or technical assistance Patient, friendly, and able to explain tech concepts in a simple way Highly organised and reliable Experience with both Windows and Mac is a plus Comfortable working with small businesses
