Job Description: We are looking for a detail-oriented Technical Writer to create clear, concise, and user-friendly documentation for our products and services. The ideal candidate will work closely with developers, engineers, and product managers to translate complex technical concepts into easy-to-understand materials for various audiences, including end users and internal teams.
Responsibilities: Develop and maintain technical documentation, including user guides, API documentation, manuals, FAQs, and whitepapers. Collaborate with software developers, engineers, and designers to gather information and understand technical specifications. Write, edit, and format content that is accessible to both technical and non-technical audiences. Ensure consistency and clarity in all documentation, following industry best practices and company guidelines. Work with product and development teams to update documentation as products evolve. Create visual aids, such as diagrams, flowcharts, and screenshots, to enhance understanding. Conduct usability testing and collect feedback to improve documentation quality. Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Technical Writing, Computer Science, Communications, or a related field. Proven experience as a Technical Writer, preferably in a software or technology environment. Strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills with attention to detail. Ability to break down complex concepts into clear, concise, and structured content. Experience with documentation tools such as Markdown, Confluence, Docusaurus, MadCap Flare, or Adobe FrameMaker. Familiarity with APIs, software development processes, and coding languages (e.g., HTML, JavaScript, or Python) is a plus. Strong research and communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams. Preferred Qualifications: Experience with version control tools (Git, GitHub, or Bitbucket). Knowledge of Agile methodologies and working in a fast-paced environment. Experience creating multimedia documentation, including video tutorials and interactive guides.
