I am looking to expand my souvenir and luggage storage business in London into the Chinese travel market. To help promote our services to Chinese tourists and business travelers, I would like to set up a profile and build initial followers on Xiaohongshu, one of China's most popular social networking platforms. The ideal candidate would be a native Chinese speaker based in China with strong digital marketing skills and experience using Xiaohongshu.
The work would involve creating an attractive business profile in Simplified Chinese, uploading quality photos showcasing our facilities, writing engaging descriptions of our services and location, setting up basic account settings and privacy options. The goal is to start actively engaging with relevant hashtags and communities to gain early followers. Ongoing community management and content creation on the platform to build awareness of our brand among Chinese travelers going forward can also be discussed.
Experience managing Chinese social media for travel/hospitality businesses is preferred. The candidate should have strong writing abilities in Simplified Chinese along with a solid understanding of the target Xiaohongshu demographic and how to best reach Chinese audiences. Initiative, creativity and presentation skills will be important for this profile-building project. Please provide samples of your previous social media work if bidding for this role.
