Project Overview:
We are developing an AI-powered oracle called the Babalawo, which will provide multilingual spoken responses in a custom voice. We need an AI specialist to clone a specific voice from provided recordings and integrate it into a text-to-speech (TTS) model using only open-source solutions (no proprietary services like ElevenLabs or Microsoft Azure).
Project Requirements:
We are looking for a freelancer who can:
- Clone a specific voice from at least 2+ hours of provided clean speech data. - Ensure multilingual speech synthesis (English, French, Swahili, Arabic preferred). - Train or fine-tune a custom AI voice modelusing open-source TTS frameworks such as Coqui AI or Vits models. - Optimize pronunciation, intonation, and expressiveness for natural, human-like speech. - Provide an offline, locally deployable model (no reliance on cloud-based services).
Ideal Candidate Should Have:
- Experience with open-source AI voice synthesis tools (Mozilla TTS, Tacotron, or similar). - Knowledge of voice cloning techniques and TTS model fine-tuning. - Ability to work with multilingual speech synthesis and phoneme adjustments. - Experience in deploying TTS models locally without cloud dependencies.
Deliverables:
- A fully trained custom TTS model replicating the provided voice. - Multilingual speech synthesis in at least 3 languages (English, French, Yoruba). - A local deployment setup that can run offline and be fully hosted on our server (self-hosted, no API reliance). - A brief technical guide on how to use, modify, and maintain the model.
