We are looking for a Human Resources Specialist to join our team and help us manage our growing business. As a Human Resources Specialist, you will be responsible for a range of HR functions, including recruitment, employee relations, benefits administration, and compliance.
Responsibilities:
Recruitment:
- Develop and implement effective recruitment strategies to attract top talent.
- Source and screen candidates using various methods, including job boards, social media, and employee referrals.
- Conduct interviews and evaluate candidates based on their skills, experience, and qualifications.
- Negotiate job offers and ensure that they are in line with company policies and regulations.
Employee Relations:
- Build and maintain positive relationships with employees.
- Address employee concerns and resolve issues promptly and effectively.
- Conduct employee performance evaluations and provide feedback.
- Implement employee training and development programs.
Benefits Administration:
- Manage employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, and paid time off.
- Ensure that benefits programs are compliant with federal and state regulations.
- Process employee benefits claims and ensure that they are paid accurately and timely.
Compliance:
- Stay up-to-date on HR laws and regulations.
- Ensure that the company is compliant with all relevant HR policies and procedures.
- Conduct regular audits of HR practices to identify areas for improvement.
- Develop and implement HR policies and procedures.
- Manage employee records and ensure that they are accurate and up-to-date.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in HR, with at least 1 year in a leadership role.
- Strong knowledge of HR laws and regulations.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
- Experience with HRIS systems is a plus.
