We are a 12-year-old six-figure UK-based digital marketing agency seeking a highly skilled and experienced copywriter to join our team on a month-to-month contract up to 20 hours per week. The primary focus of this role is to develop and write engaging content that promotes our clients brand message across various platforms. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in copywriting and the ability to produce high-quality, SEO-optimised content.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Develop and write unique manually-written content for blogs, articles, and website pages that engage readers and promote the brand message. 2. Conduct high-quality research and interviews to ensure all copy is accurate, informative, and relevant. Collaboration: Work closely with the marketing and design teams to align copy with brand guidelines and marketing strategies. 3. Edit and proofread copy to ensure it is free of errors and maintains a consistent tone and style. 4. Use SEO principles to maximise the copy’s reach and effectiveness across digital platforms. 5. Manage multiple projects simultaneously, from concept to completion, within tight deadlines.
Requirements:
1. Proven experience as a copywriter or related role with a strong portfolio of work. 2. Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills with a diligent eye for detail, language, flow, and grammar. 3. Proven ability to demonstrate brand voice and adapt style to suit various content types and target audiences. 4. Strong research skills and the ability to deliver content that engages and drives action. 5. Experience writing for SEO and a good understanding of digital marketing strategies. 6. Ability to meet deadlines and collaborate with a team. 7. Familiarity with online content strategies and content management systems. 8. Does not write with LLMs
