We are seeking a reliable individual based in the US to manage laptops for software engineers who are employed by US companies but are currently traveling abroad. Your primary responsibilities will include setting up, maintaining, and providing remote access to these laptops, as well as performing minor daily tasks that cannot be handled remotely. This is a great opportunity for someone interested in a flexible, part-time role that involves technology and remote collaboration.
Responsibilities:
- Receive, unbox, and set up up to 4 company-provided laptops. - Configure the laptops according to specific requirements and ensure they are connected to the necessary networks. - Turn on and maintain daily remote access capabilities to facilitate ongoing software development work by the engineers. - Perform minor daily tasks that cannot be completed remotely, such as software updates, basic troubleshooting, and system checks. - Ensure the laptops are in good condition and report any technical issues or damages promptly. - Communicate regularly with the engineers to coordinate schedules and address any technical needs or concerns.
Qualifications:
- US-based resident. - Proficiency with remote access tools and basic laptop setup/configuration. - Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. - Responsible, trustworthy, and able to manage multiple devices efficiently. - Good communication skills to interact effectively with international team members. - Experience with IT support or technical assistance is a plus, but not required.
