Project Overview: GymChamp is a WordPress-based platform designed to connect gyms and their members through engaging challenges and competitions. A developer has completed much of the groundwork, but the project is incomplete. We are seeking an experienced WordPress developer/designer to finalize the website, focusing on design, user registration forms, and integrating key functionalities.
Key Responsibilities:
Website Design: Complete the design of the website to ensure a polished, user-friendly, and modern look. Incorporate realistic fitness visuals and align with the overall theme of GymChamp.
User Registration and Profiles: Finalize and optimize the forms for user sign-ups. Allow gyms to register and create a profile, including setting up a subscription membership to join GymChamp (via Stripe integration). Enable individual gym users to register an account, link their profile to a registered gym, and manage their profile.
Gym Challenges: Implement functionality for gym users to view and participate in monthly challenges (e.g., "How fast can you row 1,000m?"). Develop a submission system for times and scores.
Live Leaderboard: Build a dynamic leaderboard that updates automatically with submitted scores and displays live results for challenges. The current manual leaderboard needs to be replaced.
Payment Integration: Complete the Stripe integration for gym subscription memberships.
Requirements: Proven experience in WordPress development and design. Familiarity with Stripe integration for subscriptions. Strong skills in PHP, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. Experience with creating dynamic and interactive site functionalities (e.g., live leaderboards). Ability to start immediately and deliver within a reasonable timeframe.
Timeline: The project is urgent, and we are looking for someone to start immediately. Please provide an estimated timeline for completion in your proposal.
