I require an experienced Visio professional to expertly recreate a Piping and Instrumentation Diagram from an existing PDF file into an editable Visio format. The current diagram was created in an unspecified software and then exported as a non-modifiable image file. As an engineering consultant, I need to update and revise the schematic to reflect recent process changes.
The provided PDF depicts a complex oil and gas facility including various pieces of equipment, instrumentation, pipes, valves and other process components. The selected candidate must have extensive experience working with P&IDs and be highly skilled in tracing multi-layered diagrams by hand into Visio. An keen eye for meticulous detail is essential as accurate reproduction of all elements, tags and labels is critical.
Once recreated in Visio, I will need the ability to modify and annotate the drawing to conceptualize proposed system alterations. The candidate should therefore be fully conversant in all Visio's advanced diagramming features. Given the intricate nature and scale of the original file, the individual must have demonstrated history of skillfully replicating even the most intricate of technical schematics.
Adherence to engineering drawing standards and best practices for P&ID symbolism is a must. Only candidates with portfolio demonstrations of similar work and glowing reviews from past clients need apply. Proficiency with Visio and competence in schematic transcription are minimum prerequisites
