Job Description: Gordon & Walker Estates is seeking a proactive, self-motivated Freelance Sales and Lettings Negotiator to join our dynamic team. As a key member of our growing business, you will play a critical role in driving property sales and lettings, offering exceptional customer service, and ensuring a seamless process for both clients and tenants.
Responsibilities: - Sales Negotiation: - Manage property sales from initial enquiry through to completion. - Advise clients on market conditions, pricing, and sale strategies. - Arrange and conduct property viewings with potential buyers. - Negotiate offers and oversee the offer process to ensure smooth transactions. - Maintain relationships with buyers and vendors to foster repeat business.
- Lettings Negotiation: - Source, market, and let residential properties to suitable tenants. - Advise landlords on market conditions, rental pricing, and property presentation. - Conduct property viewings with prospective tenants and assess suitability. - Negotiate lease terms and manage the tenant onboarding process. - Ensure all lettings comply with legal and regulatory requirements.
- Customer Service: - Provide high-quality customer service to both clients and tenants. - Resolve queries and issues promptly, ensuring customer satisfaction.
- Business Development: - Contribute to lead generation and business growth through networking and outreach. - Maintain up-to-date knowledge of the local property market and trends. - Actively seek out new business opportunities and expand the client base.
Skills & Experience Required: - Minimum of 2 years’ experience in sales and/or lettings, within the estate agency sector. - Strong negotiation skills with a proven track record of achieving targets. - Knowledge of the Basildon property market is advantageous. - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. - Self-driven with the ability to work independently and manage your schedule effectively. - Ability to build and maintain client relationships. - Strong organisational skills and attention to detail. - Full UK driving licence and access to a car.
Desirable: - ARLA or NAEA qualifications. - Knowledge of property management processes.
Contract Type: Freelance/Contract-based Salary: Commission-based, with a competitive commission structure.
