The project includes WordPress setup, theme customization, essential plugin configuration, and training. My goal is to create a visually immersive yet beginner-friendly site. Scope of Work: 1. WordPress Setup • Install and configure WordPress on my EasyWP Namecheap hosting. • Install SSL certificate (purchased and ready to activate). 2. Theme Customization • Install a beginner-friendly, customizable theme (e.g., Astra, OceanWP). • Customize the theme to match my brand’s colors, fonts, and layout preferences (design ideas provided via Google Docs). • Focus on a minimalist structure with lush, moody visuals. 3. Plugin Installation & Configuration • Install essential plugins (e.g., SEO, security, caching, and backup tools). • Provide recommendations for beginner-friendly tools and configure them for optimal performance. 4. Basic SEO Setup • Configure initial SEO settings (metadata, indexing). • Provide a brief tutorial on optimizing future blog posts. 5. Training & Support • Teach me WordPress basics: creating/editing posts, modifying pages, and using plugins. • Provide a quick Canva walkthrough to help with logo and graphic creation. Deliverables: • A fully functional and secure WordPress blog ready for content. • A personalized training session to ensure I can manage my blog independently. Ideal Candidate: • Experienced in WordPress setup, theme customization, and SEO & can teach Canva training. • Comfortable teaching beginners with clear, simple guidance. • Strong communicator with a collaborative attitude.
