We are looking for a talented digital designer experienced in creating subtle, animated product visuals commonly seen on SaaS marketing websites. These animations should effectively communicate complex product workflows and add a layer of polish to our marketing pages, much like the product demonstration visuals found on observe.ai (towards the bottom of their homepage).
What We’ll Provide:
Access to a demo environment of our product so you can see the underlying functionality. (Note: This environment may not provide a direct “export” of what’s needed. You’ll have to recreate and refine certain elements.) Your Responsibilities:
Understand the Brief:
Review a description of the required image or animation from our team. For example, a set of dashboard widgets indicating an increasing Net Promoter Score over time. Design & Asset Creation:
Recreate the necessary product elements in a vector-based design tool like Figma. Ensure that the Figma file is clean, organized, and easily editable by our marketing team for future updates. Subtle Animation Production:
Convert the static design into a responsive, interactive animation using a tool like Lottielab (SVG to Lottie). The final animation should be smooth, performance-optimized, and visually consistent with our brand. Advisory Role:
Provide best practice guidance to our web team for embedding and implementing these animations on our site. Advise on balancing image quality with website performance and load time considerations. Key Requirements:
Proven track record in designing and animating subtle, SaaS-like product imagery. Ability to demonstrate previous similar work (links or portfolio examples required). Strong understanding of performance-optimized animation techniques (Lottie or equivalent). Comfortable iterating efficiently with minimal rounds of amendments. Project Process & Deliverables:
Initially, we’ll start with one test image to ensure fit (example provided below). Once the first image is approved, we can discuss a broader scope: additional images on a per-image, per-hour, or full-project basis.
Initial Test Image Brief:
Show a conversation between an agent and a customer, where a “security check” line item is ticked off as the agent says:
“To confirm your identity, please can I take your email, postcode, and date of birth?”
The customer response should be visually represented as redacted for sensitive data: *“Sure, it’s *****, **** and *******.”

Please send over examples of your previous work that align with what we’re after.
Include your hourly rate and any relevant pricing structures.
After completion and review of the initial asset, we’ll proceed to define the scope of the remaining images.
