We are seeking a Freelance Technical SEO Specialist with a strong background in web development to join our team on a project basis. The ideal candidate is not only an expert in technical SEO but also has exceptional articulation and presentation skills to effectively communicate strategies, insights, and recommendations to stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities: • Conduct in-depth technical SEO audits to identify opportunities for optimization. • Collaborate with web development teams to implement SEO improvements, ensuring they align with technical best practices. • Optimize website architecture, URL structure, internal linking, and site speed for improved search engine performance. • Troubleshoot and resolve crawl errors, indexation issues, and site health problems. • Conduct detailed analysis of Core Web Vitals and provide actionable recommendations. • Stay updated with the latest trends and algorithm changes in the SEO landscape. • Prepare and deliver clear, concise, and impactful presentations to communicate findings and strategies to non-technical and technical audiences. • Provide guidance on schema markup, canonical tags, redirects, and other technical SEO elements.
Qualifications and Skills: • Proven experience in technical SEO and web development (HTML, CSS, JavaScript). • Familiarity with SEO tools such as Screaming Frog, Google Search Console, Ahrefs, SEMrush, and others. • Strong understanding of Core Web Vitals and page speed optimization. • Experience with website migration projects and understanding of potential SEO implications. • Doing SEO in the environment of HubSpot is a plus. • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to translate technical concepts for diverse audiences. • Strong analytical mindset with the ability to make data-driven decisions.
