Hi the problem mainly is that php can't find the mysqli_connect extension and I can't connect to mysql version 8.0.40-0 database now and this seems to be a configuration problem.
Helpfiles, tutorials and general searches seem useless timewise.
I was wondering if anyone else has faced a similar problem and has any workarounds for php 7.4 or a workable solution for the set up of php 7.4 specifically.
I can't connect to the database basically and hate mysqli.
msyql_connect worked fine for years but now there seems to be a configuration issue to address and i have to rewrite a few lines of code.
This should be a straightforward 10 min job for someone who has figured this out before and wouldn't mind sharing the solution... I'm on a tight schedule this week so simply don't have the time..
