To start with It is quite tiring to see endless of developers first taking on work and then just bailing out. # This is a pretty simple job.
1. generate seo friendly urls with the oleg module (look it up) 2. remove and replace the URLS you get from the magento admin syste export menu with new ones 3. load approx 1500-2000 urls into the rewrite table
This is a job that is pretty straight forward I keep getting people who simply jsut waste my time and do nothing more than fail. Or like they did in July crash the whole server and take me out of business. what is wrong? Is this the morale of how people work? Lie to get a job they cannot finalise? Do you really have this time to waste? Is it not better to say; I cannot do the job, get someone in as fast as you can as I know you ned it done fast
Do you know whatvthis mean? You care about your customer and not you wallet. Do you know what the out come of this is? The customer remember you.
Why is noone doing this? Why do I then get people who say they will do the job and they vanish for one day and come back and say "I cannot do the job now tell me the time line" Eh? Are you seriously arrogant or a complete .... Why do I put a JD here and want it done immediately? This is about doing a job and not BS. I have been in the induustry for 46 years and probably can be most of your grandad but the morale is under every single level of critisism.
And now, the next trick, bid in GBP to gain 30% more because you do not understand the way the world works. Oh, no, I am not working in GBP I work in USD. just leave iit, its tiring to have it.

Now - the job
We made a major push for new urls so the site map could be cleaned up.
If you have no magento 2.4 experience do not apply. Several people have destroyed things as late as in august so I am careful
1. new and this time correct urls to 100% 2. fixed up url rewrite table 3. all SEO with keywords in text, url, backlinks, meta are all fixed since months back 4. The google bot was requested to run
results: yet again cannot index
as you understand there is a lot of time spent on this, but result is constantly that the google index is stopping
Do not come and say you should work with optimising keywords. Thats not the issue.
the issue is that the site is not being crawled. and now all is almost spotless.
I have also discovered that the urls we have are in the site map not correct. This is handled by using a rewrite, but still it is an issue I also get urls without vegan and cruelty free
