I seek an experienced augmented reality developer to craft an innovative mobile application utilizing image recognition capabilities. The proposed solution would enable users to scan visual representations of our branding - including labels and product packaging - using their smartphone cameras. Upon identifying the corresponding graphic, a 45 second promotional video would automatically play on the device screen. The app must also feature social media icons allowing viewers to easily engage with our accounts.
The initial goal of this project is to develop a minimum viable product within a compressed timeline to demonstrate capabilities for client stakeholders. The application would start by recognizing and responding to just one branded graphic. However, there is potential opportunity for ongoing collaboration if the technology proves effective. The client envisions regularly updating promotional video content on a weekly or biweekly basis going forward to maintain audience engagement. An organized, efficient work method will be important to satisfy initial project needs while positioning for future phases. Strong communication and meticulous documentation will also be crucial as multiple sprints may be required. Overall, this project presents an engaging challenge for an experienced augmented reality programmer.
