I make documentaries about different cultures around the world. I'm looking for an editor to create YouTube shorts out of the documentaries that I upload. You will need to be fluent in English and Urdu, and you will need to be experienced with video editing.
The work is very simple: Cut 1 minute scenes from the longer videos, change the sizing to portrait, and add English subtitles. You will need to watch through the documentary and pick out the best parts to be made into shorts.
The price is £4 per short for 5 shorts. I will need someone long term as I have many documentaries to make. My current YouTube series is going to be 15 episodes in total about my travels in Pakistan. I am currently on Episode 2. Depending on how well you do with these 5 shorts, I will then consider hiring you long term.
I also have other portrait videos that I have shot in Pakistan that can be made into shorts. You will need to be creative with these regarding soundtracks for TikTok, Instagram and YouTube. We can do a trial video for this, but for now I need shorts made out of my latest documentary. It is about a mountain tribe who live cut off from the rest of the world in an area known as 'The Roof of the World'. I document my time with them and share my story of attending a tribal wedding.
