I have an excel sheet which I want to develop into a well designed, visually appealing dashboard.
The sheet takes 5 numbers per day to be input - these cannot be extracted so require a manual input. Cash, Card, Dept A, Dept B and Dept C.
There are fields for number of staff hours at rate A, B and C per day, which is input per week - or populated from the previous week if no change.
There are also fields for a monthly input of rent value, utilities, other costs, which are divided by the number of days in the month.
The data is displayed in a table showing +/- on the previous week, and the true value of profit of Dept B and everything else by day. The days are summarized for the week. A seperate table shows the average of year to date and last 4 weeks of the daily percentages as part of a 100% week.
The weekly takings is also shown in a graph, compared to previous years.
At present it's clunky, unappealing. It needs updating and a visually appealing dashboard created which takes no maintenance other than the daily sales input and monthly costs change.
