We seek a skilled mobile app developer to build a translation application to facilitate communication between SIGN LANGUAGE (video), ideally in real time and English *initially). The app should allow real-time text and voice translation between the two languages with high accuracy. Some key features include:
- An intuitive dual-language interface where users can effortlessly switch between views. Text, voice messages and calls should seamlessly translate between the two supported languages.
- Robust translation algorithms employing the latest Neural Machine Translation techniques to achieve human-level translation quality. Continual learning capabilities allow translating newly emerging slang/colloquial terms common in conversations.
- Support for common European languages like English and German in future app updates based on project scope and roadmap.
- Secure backend services for data storage, user accounts and analytics. Adherence to privacy standards like GDPR is mandatory.
- Clean and minimal UI optimized for convenient one-handed use on mobile. Quick launch voice translation, call features and smart suggestions help users communicate with ease.
- Ongoing algorithm improvements and feature additions through periodic app updates. Integration of advanced AI tools like Google Translate and DeepL APIs where applicable.
We require the app to be designed and developed as a cross-platform mobile application targeting but iOS premier League. Interested developers preferably conversant with Kotlin/Swift and experience building AI/ML integrated apps
