Please do not contact me if you done less than 30 projects or have under 30 reviews I just want to make sure you understand the batmobile car body project is to be a driving car on the road. Length: 6.62 m Width: 2.40 m Height: 1.30 m Wheelbase: 3.58 m
I think the height includes the wheels in the body, but as long as it look good and everything else like the wheel archs are still round and the front turbine is still round I would go as far as 1.5m height with the body. As iv heard, there's not much of a window to look out while driving. I want to make it as drivable as possible whilst still keeping the looks of the original body.
I would need it scaling to this size with a single solid 3mm wall then i can fiberglasswrap it for strength when printed.
. Then, I could print it in sections to eventually get the full size body. The stl file i have and will send with this job will need changing. The stl is for a toy car with some parts that snap together which I don't need I would just lat these flattening off The front turbine is not round, and it should be, and I think the rear fins need shaping better to. You may find more faults to.
I will also need a 40mm flange coming off the bottom on the body going inwards so I can make body mounts and wheel arches off that.
My printer is an egloo neptune 3 max with a build plate of 420 x 420 x 500 and I use cura to slice
It would also be nice if I had a map with all the segments of the print on a picture of where it is on the body if that makes sense. I am planning on butt gluing the panels together with resin and then fiberglass on top of that for strength
My only other one is when when you are deciding where to cut the panels for it it fit on my printer. Can you try and have abit of shape in it so I can glue thr panels together better to get the shaping closer.
