I'm looking for an editor for a dark romance book. It is 136,000 words long. Please see the attached file for an extract of the story to see my writing style and more detailed information on what sort of dark themes the book contains.
I'm looking for an editor, so when you send your proposal, please explain what you will do when editing, the cost, and the timeframe. There are different levels of editing, so I'm asking you to specify what you will do.
This is not a project for a proofreader, so please do not send a proposal to proofread; I'm requiring an editor.
As for the budget, as always, I am open. I select a random amount and would rather have you tell me how much you charge; that is a big sign to me who is legit and who is not. If you're willing to edit one page of the extract before I accept the proposal to show your work, let me know. I unfortunately recently had a bad experience with a 5rated user, so I'm cautious about picking someone based on reviews.
