We are looking to create some cusom validation on our order form to prevent fraudulent orders. People are using stolen credit cards to buy gift cards from our website and we are looking to add some validation rules to prevent this from happening.
Typically the orders pattern seems to be; US / foreign billing address Gift Card product only Gift Card recipient is also their billing email
Would we be able to use validation hooks to reject/stop an order if it met the above 3 criteria. Just present an error saying that their online order has been blocked due to billing details and to contact us to finalise?
