I seek an experienced web developer to analyze and optimize the loading performance of my website. Our goal is to achieve noticeable loading time reductions across all pages and on both desktop and mobile devices.
The selected freelancer will start with a technical audit of our current website design, codebase, hosting infrastructure and resource usage. Bottlenecks will be identified and recommendations provided for caching, minification, image optimization, deferred parsing of scripts and other proven techniques.
Relevant changes will then be implemented following approved proposals. Code will be cleaned, redundant or unused assets removed, page weight reduced and front-end optimizations strengthened. Server-side aspects like database queries, server response times and CDN configurations may also be tuned for enhanced performance.
Testing and validation is important. Load times must be benchmarked before and after each round of changes using tools like Lighthouse, PageSpeed Insights and WebPageTest. Iterative improvements will continue until target page speeds are consistently achieved across all typical user environments and connections.
Documentation of all work will be provided. Our goals are to serve content quicker on both mobile and desktop, enhance the user experience and improve our site's viability, conversion and search rankings through world-class loading speeds. The selected candidate must have extensive experience optimizing websites for speed and deep technical skills to drive meaningful performance gains.
