I need help with a personal project. My mum passed away about a year ago, and since she left us I have been writing poetry about the emotions, feelings, and the overall journey.
We are coming up to the anniversary, and I wanted to get the poems printed up in a book to give to close family members.
I have a book company who will do the printing however I need someone to create the layout documents, including front cover. There will be around 25-30 internal pages which are the poems (please lay out as needed, some will need one page, some may need up to 3 pages), with front and back cover needed as well. There are two photos I would like to incorporate within the book itself as well, one of which relates to a specific poem.
You will need to review the requirements from the book printing company and ensure that the finished product meets their specifications for them to be able to print it. It will be a hard back book, with the pages on quite thick white paper.
The front cover needs to be sombre, but not depressing, her favourite flower was a red rose, and I'd like to incorporate that into the cover. The back page can be blank, and simply a single colour, or if you want, a design that compliments the front page.
