We produce one blog post per week covering topics like market trends, economic factors and portfolio strategies. Additionally, one in-depth white paper analyzing a specific issue or opportunity is created each quarter. Both require nuanced understanding of specialist terminology and concepts to accurately convey complex ideas to a German audience.
The ideal candidate possesses native fluency in German with a minimum of five years experience in financial services translation. They will translate blog posts (500-750 words) and white papers ranging from 1500-3000 words each.
Texts cover subject matter like portfolio management, investment vehicles, macroeconomics and regulations. Familiarity with this field's linguistic conventions and ability to research unfamiliar terms is essential.
This role is perfect for a highly skilled, independent translator passionate about financial topics. While we provide the original English content, the translator is responsible for producing error-free, culturally sensitive German texts that fully capture the intended message and tone. A process of review and revision may be required to refine translations before publishing. Right candidate will have proven ability to handle specialized business communications with precision and care.
