Looking for a highly skilled front-end developer, to help me with a web application project. Please note that I will not be working with agencies, so individual freelancers only. You must be able to commit to at least 20 hours per week.
We are seeking a front-end web developer with over 5 years' experience to join our team. As a front-end developer, you will be responsible for the user interface of our web application. Qualified candidates will be expected to have a working knowledge of HTML5, CSS, JavaScript, vue.js, Angular, React, PHP and of user interface and user experience (UI/UX) design. Your duties will include turning wireframes and mock-ups into reusable code and building high-quality UI components with scalability in mind. You will also be responsible for implementing new features to our application, handling the integration of plugins, and performing routine maintenance and performance optimizations.
Note: The ideal candidate will use a blended approach to development, that is a combination of pure HTML5, CSS, JavaScript, vue.js, Angular, React, PHP and use of frameworks. You will be required to:
Use frameworks for layouts: Example, use grid system and pre-designed components to speed up layout and UI development.
Customize frameworks with Custom CSS/JavaScript etc.: Example, override framework’s default styles with your custom CSS or enhance functionality with JavaScript as needed.
Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field Minimum of 5 years of experience developing modern, responsive, and cross-browser-compatible websites using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript Knowledge of JavaScript frameworks such as React, Angular, and Vue Proficient with AJAX Experience with JavaScript libraries such as jQuery and Bootstrap Proficiency with HTML5, including semantic HTML5 elements, microformats, and WAI-ARIA Familiarity with CSS preprocessors such as Sass, Less, or Stylus Working knowledge of SEO principles Experience with build tools such as Grunt, Gulp, or Webpack Basic proficiency with Photoshop and web design Experience with cross-browser compatibility testing Proficient in Figma
Ideal Skills: - Expertise in front end technologies - Strong understanding of web application development - Excellent problem-solving skills - Ability to work independently
