I need to build a page that will take an RSS or JSON feed as input, and display the data in 3 steps (side by side):
1) a tree (basic JSON format)
2) a flat table format (to compare old and new vales)
3) a key:value list (to export into a database)
The user will be able to choose in view (1) which node to pivot the table (2) on.
The user will be able to choose in view (2) which columns to keep/remove for view (3).
View (3) will be stored in a NoSql database to track incremental updates.
Next, the feed will be fetched on a schedule, and will show the difference between the last two fetches in views 2 and 3.
My previous developer has attempted to build this but could not complete it. Code is attached. Preview is here, but not working without backend running (it uses back end to avoid CORS). https://feed-fetcher.vercel.app/
Attached is a mockup, and a first attempt at the code.
Here is a full writeup of the project, but only the above functionality is part of this initial phase: https://docs.google.com/document/d/1D_GbR8X55rGJZnFqqOfFZPpsNi23Vkn4A0IpeHV7XYc/edit?usp=sharing
