This project involves configuring an Asterisk private branch exchange (PBX) system with SIP trunking and user extensions. The service provider will install Asterisk version 20 or 18 on a virtual machine and carry out the necessary configurations for integrating SIP trunking from an internet telephone service provider. All user extensions will be enabled with features like call forwarding, voicemail access, scheduling and conferencing capabilities. The PBX configuration will allow simultaneous ringing to reach users on both internal and external phone numbers. Advanced functionalities like interactive voice response units and call queues will also be set up to improve routing of incoming phone calls to the appropriate users. Once testing verifies all features are working as intended, the fully configured virtual PBX will be handed over for use in the client's business communications. Bid submission for this project is invited from freelancers adept at Asterisk customization and implementation of telephony systems.
