An American media company is looking to hire a hardworking and self-motivated social media manager to post our existing video, audio, and written content across all social media platforms, manage DMs, and engage accounts for growth.
Responsibilities: 1. Write captions to go with the short videos our video editor creates. 2. Research hashtags and optimize settings across all our social media platforms for best post performance. 3. Post once per day on Instagram, FaceBook, Twitter/X, TikTok, YouTube, LinkedIn, Spotify for Podcasters, and Pinterest. You may use a post scheduler and post the same thing to every account to make it easier. 4. Engage similar accounts to grow all our social channels. 5. Create a Pinterest graphic for to create a pin for each of our podcast episodes (we will provide templates for the graphics and SEO training). 6. Respond to DMs and comments across all platforms daily. For any complex DMs and comments you need help with, provide a daily report of DMs you would like our US-based team member to respond to. 7. Set up ManyChat funnels so every Instagram and Facebook caption can lead to DM automations and SMS campaigns. 8. Set up Tweethunter.io to automate Twitter/X DMs and grow the account.
Requirements: 1. Excellent English with a talent for high-conversion copywriting. 2. Prompt, professional communication, keeping me up to date on your progress. 3. Hard working with commitment to deadlines and professionalism, making one post per day (7 days a week) on every platform: Instagram, FaceBook, Twitter/X, TikTok, YouTube, LinkedIn, Spotify for Podcasters, and Pinterest. You may use a post scheduler so you don’t have to work on Saturdays and Sundays. 4. Can work 40 hrs a week, 8 hrs a day. Note: the position may be part-time for the first few weeks before it turns into full time work, as our content team is still working on producing the videos for you to post, but we will be ramping up quickly. 5. Must have a stable daily internet connection. 6. Willing to work at least 2 hours during U.S. work hours (8am to 5pm CST Monday through Friday). 7. Willing to take on other social media responsibilities, as necessary, for our three brands.
Preferred experience: 1. Demonstrated experience managing and optimizing for growth on any of the following platforms: YouTube, LinkedIn, Instagram, FaceBook, TikTok, X (Twitter), Pinterest, ManyChat, or SMS campaigns. 2. Has a keen understanding of SEO for social media (especially for YouTube and podcast titles, and Pinterest).
Interview process: The interview process is task-based, meaning that once you apply, I will pay a few applicants for a trial period before selecting a final candidate for full-time work. You don't have to have all necessary experience to apply, as long as you have a willingness to learn.
