Expected duration: Ongoing We are seeking a highly motivated professional to join our organization as Fractional Director of E-Commerce Growth. The primary responsibility of this role is to oversee our transition from a retail and service company, to an e-commerce organization. The Director will oversee a team of launch and support technicians, and ensure the achievement of strategic goals for our organization.
We initially foresee a commitment of up to 10 hours per week. Initially this position will be very hands-on, with the Director actively participating on the launch and support teams in a technical role, with some time devoted to testing and standardizing our platforms and procedures.
The ideal candidate will possess exceptional leadership and organizational skills, the ability to multi-task both as a project manager and contributor, a strong and contagious work ethic, and a willingness to actively contribute to all areas of the organization.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the launch and support teams, providing guidance, support, and mentorship to ensure the successful execution of brand strategies. - Implement comprehensive brand strategies to enhance the organization's market presence and achieve business objectives. - Utilize market research and analysis to identify market trends, consumer preferences, and competitive landscape, and utilize this knowledge to inform brand strategies. - Oversee the execution of brand campaigns, ensuring consistency and alignment with brand guidelines and values. - Monitor and evaluate brand performance, utilizing key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure success and identify areas for improvement. - Foster a collaborative and inclusive work environment, promoting teamwork, open communication, and knowledge sharing among team members. - Monitor the brand budget, ensuring optimal allocation of resources and cost-effective strategies. - Stay informed about industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices, and proactively identify opportunities for innovation and growth. - Act as a liaison between senior management and the launch and support teams, providing regular updates on brand performance, initiatives, and challenges.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing. Master's degree in Business is a plus. - Solid work history demonstrating increasing responsibility. - Professional experience in executing strategies, achieving targets, collaboration, and mentoring. - Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a team. - Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively convey complex ideas and concepts. - Analytical mindset, with a demonstrated ability to interpret data and market research to inform decision-making. - Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, with a willingness to adapt and take on new challenges. - Strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask and prioritize effectively. - Flexibility to work outside regular business hours, as needed, to meet project deadlines and address urgent issues.
