I have a disciplinary meeting tomorrow and require a rebuttal letter to the meeting itself. Could somebody please help write a written statement to be read:
I am entitled to the following before the meeting commences: "Your right to make a written statement You’ll be allowed to make written submissions before any hearing."
I have spoken to Acas and they said there are mitigating circumstances involved as the company is aware I suffer from "social and general anxiety". I have made the company aware I suffer from "said" conditions and was initially told I can work remotely (which I had been doing), but as the weeks progress I have to make a visit to the office premises once per week by the end of December, to conform to the "travellers policy", which is the parent company.
I felt pressure to abide by this ruling and while under the constraint of the increasing side effects of the medication; until it normalised I acted out of character.
I expected there to be a intermediary to discuss the incident involving my [colleague name] as a team, instead on the very same day I had a one-to-one call booked abruptly with just myself and my managers manager (two hierarchy above me), I immediately raised concern that it should not have gone that far and we could of discussed the incident between me and [colleague name]. I don't understand why she didn't speak to me directly.
The allegation regarding "unprofessional behaviour and communication" was in response to what the colleague had said to me which was to the effect of "You are unprofessional" and I felt offended and responded duly out of character with words to similar effect, but not over extending that mark. Please keep in mind I had discussed with the colleague coming into the office to discuss the "sprint planning" to which she replied abruptly with 'I'm not coming in" and did not mention it wasn't going ahead when given the opportunity. As I saw the event in my calendar I assumed it was going ahead, and given we are team mates she had the opportunity to mention it wasn't going ahead even when I mentioned I was making adjustments so my wife could work from home that day and pick my three-year daughter up from nursery without a vehicle, as she doesn't drive.
Is there anyone that can write this up for a reasonable fee?
