We are seeking a talented graphic designer to create a unique and memorable logo for our Otorhinolaryngology (ENT & Head and Neck Surgery) Department. This logo will be prominently displayed (embroidered) on our department jackets.
Criteria/Requirements:
The logo needs to reflect both ENT and Head & Neck surgery aspects. Ideally, it should be two or 3-toned for a clean, professional look.
We had a few ideas, but they are all jumping-off points as we welcome the artist's creative input and design ideas.
We wish to avoid a plain facial skeleton, as another department already utilizes this imagery, but a facial structure could be used and expanded on. Potential ideas for the design include: Highlighting the muscles, blood vessels, bones, or nerves of the face.
One idea we had was a composition of 4 heads/profiles, each showcasing one of the aforementioned anatomical elements (muscles, blood vessels, bones, nerves).
Another idea was to use an anatomical representation of the head and neck, divided into different parts, each representing a distinct aspect of the specialty. For example, one side of the face could represent facial trauma, with a slight artistic 'crack symbolizing the process of healing and recovery. The other side of the face could depict a healthy face, representing jaw reconstruction. For surgical oncology, a tiny, artistic representation of a cell under a microscope, maybe in the throat region. Sinus and skull base surgery could be represented by intricate lines and patterns in the skull and nasal area.
The final deliverable should be in Adobe Illustrator (.ai) format.
Preferences:
Previous experience designing logos for medical or healthcare institutions. Ability to provide a few initial sketches or concepts for review before finalizing the design. Budget: $50-100
Deadline: All designs must be submitted by August 30, 2023
