Create dashboards using dummy data in Power BI (PDF Design will be provided):-
1. Create a dummy data set. There are a few ways to do this. One way is to use the Power BI Generator. The Power BI Generator is a free tool that allows you to create dummy data sets with a variety of parameters. Another way to create dummy data is to use Excel. You can create a simple table of data with the desired fields and values.
2. Import the dummy data set into Power BI. Once you have created your dummy data set, you can import it into Power BI. To do this, click on the Home tab and then click on the Get Data button. In the Get Data dialog box, select the Excel option and then click on the Connect button. In the Select Tables and Columns dialog box, select the table that contains your dummy data and then click on the Load button.
3. Create a dashboard. Once you have imported your dummy data set, you can start creating a dashboard. To do this, click on the Dashboards tab and then click on the New Dashboard button. In the New Dashboard dialog box, enter a name for your dashboard and then click on the OK button.
4. Add visuals to your dashboard. Once you have created your dashboard, you can start adding visuals. To do this, click on the Visuals tab and then drag and drop the desired visual onto your dashboard.
5. Format your visuals. Once you have added visuals to your dashboard, you can format them. To do this, right-click on the visual and then select the Format option. In the Format dialog box, you can change the color, font, and other properties of the visual.
6. Publish your dashboard. Once you are finished creating your dashboard, you can publish it. To do this, click on the File tab and then click on the Publish button. In the Publish dialog box, select the desired publishing option and then click on the Publish button.
