The programe will sit on my web server, it will read data from a wordpress database and write data to the same wordpress database and simultainiously to a new database that you will create. The data it writes to the databses will be fetched from Amazon by using an API (I'll need you to source one buy I can assist you on this)
The user will input an EAN/UPC/GTN/ISBN number (product barcode number) into a text enty field in order to add the product into the warehouse inventory. If the product alredy exists in the inventory, the quantity will somply be updated on the database. If the product has never been checked into the inventory before, the barcode number will be used to fetch product information off Amazon and save it to the database. When this happens, the user will be prompted to confirm that the correct product has been identified and if not, the programe will give the user a list of alternative product matches to chose from.
I'm looking for someone to work with on a sting of projects, this one simply being one of many. Each project will build on the last. To get started, you'll need to know that the magic word is Speedmaster.
There's a little bit more involved than what I've mentioned as I can't go into detail. I need you to be free for a Zoom call before I accept your proposal so that I can discuss details and demonstrate a rudimentary java application and how your web programe needs to improve uplon it. The applications doesn't need to look great, it just needs to work.
I'm happy for you to use framework but all files and code must run from my server, including CSS.
