I'm looking for a personal stylist to provide guidance on how to better improve my overall style and interoperability of my wardrobe.
I'm 33(m) working in technology sales with a young family. I tend to generally wear some designer tops with basic jeans.
My objective is to 'have a look' for each of the situations within my personal and work life. And for each of those looks to be slightly overdressed by comparison to others without going formal. So smart casual vs casual. In a subtle way.
I work from home, but I'm regularly on video conferences with prospective customers (large enterprises) and I regularly attend conferences/ events for work. In my personal life, as a family we do like to go out for lunch, spend time on walks and we visit Wales regularly, so I need a 'uk beach' look.
What I'm looking for: - Someone who knows brands and their sizing. I know a few brands that suit my body shape and I need help knowing which other brands (designer or not) are similar - Is able to logically justify their choices. Eg: this collar style on a shirt is better suited to my face shape. Or buy this goodyear welted shoe as it can be used for Formal & Smart Casual looks etc... - Knows the UK market - Has experience in similar projects. Ideally working with someone of a similar background to me - Willing to assess mu current wardrobe items, identify gaps & provide documented 'looks' as a cheat sheet. So if I go to a conference for work...I just have to reference the document to know exactly what to pack - Open to working long term and once I'm up and running. Have quarterly reviews for the coming season
