I've got a YouTube channel (https://www.youtube.com/@miguelmoll) that I’m managing part-time. I try to upload 1 video per week about video games, game design process/explanations, and occasionally about games that I make. Maybe a geek video here or there. I aim for the final videos to not exceed 15 minutes but they are usually shorter.
I say part time as I’m a full time software developer. While I enjoy filming videos and discussing the topics mentioned above, I’m discovering that editing videos isn’t my strong suit. And if I’m being honest nor do I enjoy it.
I'm looking for someone to help with the editing side of things. I can supply the 4K video files + external audio via something like WeTransfer or Google Drive. I need a hand with editing them into the final product. This includes adding:
- sift through raw footage for best takes - b roll (which I’d provide) - on screen text, images, and lower thirds describing what I'm talking about (which I’d provide) - and general YouTube style edits/cuts to get started
Preferably with Premier Pro, as that's what I have access to and know a bit about. If you’ve gotten this far in the description and are interested, please respond with Excelsior! as a greeting. Back on topic, by providing the premier pro files I'd be able to make final changes to the project if needed.
Is this something you think you'd be open to building a long term relationship with? Feel free to have a look at my YouTube channel for an idea of my editing style but said style leans towards an amateur side so it’s not a hard requirement.
Thanks for taking the time to read through my wall of text!
