At Ballpen.io, we are building a headless "HTML-first" content management system. With just a few lines of copy/paste HTML code, Ballpen can inject CMS-driven content into any static page.
Current Status ------------------
1. The javascript that the end user includes in their static site is completed. 2. The CMS application backend is under development, and current interface is bare.
Deliverables / Tasks ------------------------
1. Branding Style Guide 2. A better looking landing page. Current landing page is: https://www.ballpen.io/ 3. Actual website for Ballpen.io showcase the application (for when we launch) 4. CMS application interface 5. Content / copywriting for the website text (example: hero banner text, use to understand feature descriptions)
Task Notes --------------
• Figma (preferred), Adobe XD or even Canva is acceptable for laying out the look of the site • Final output is to be in proper HTML + CSS. We prefer to use Tailwind for the CSS side, but are flexible • Mobile & Desktop responsive designs for the landing and final site. • Responsive layout for the CMS
Design considerations ---------------------------
• Avoid the following design styles: Claymorphism, Skeuomorphism, Neumorphism, Neo-brutalism, Corporate Alegria Style • Avoid the overused "Bootstrap" generic look • Logo (in SVG format) exists (but we are flexible to modify to fix the overall design) • No color schema / brand guide exists, so we are open to designs • Primary users are developers and content writers, and design should "appeal" to the intended users • Fonts can be Google Fonts, or Adobe Fonts (we have the necessary licenses)
Required Experience --------------------------
• UI, UX, interactivity design experience • Concise copywriting experience, especially for header text, and feature descriptions • Graphics / Illustration design experience. • Strong background in HTML & CSS • Tailwind CSS preferred
