I’m looking for a programmer who is able to make a client-side Python script for a PC game I play called Garry’s Mod, Dark RP. It must be a client-side only script to avoid any anti-cheat protection, I can give further details as required and I have a Steam Account with the game already purchased, that you may use in testing if you wish.
I’m looking for essentially an aim bot / an automatic ‘sentry’ (a security guard that stays in one location and looks in one direction, which shoots at anything that moves from a first-person view). It must be able to sense movement on screen, aim, and fire reasonably accurately at it, reloading as is necessary, before returning the field of view back to the original position to maintain the view of a protected area. There may be multiple targets (players) which could all appear in view at the same time, so a method of focusing on one target until down would be ideal, maybe a priority list of sorts? The game also has bumps and shakes when other players move objects which move / shake the entire landscape from time to time, so it will need to counter that if possible. There are quite a lot of text-boxes that appear on screen in game, so it will need to distinguish a text-box from an enemy player when sensing movement.
The game will kick players which are AFK (away from keyboard) (don’t move in a while) so it will need to move the player back and forth occasionally using the W,A,S,D keys to avoid being kicked (every minute or so), but must otherwise maintain a fixed first-person view over a protected area / point of interest, within a degree of tolerance.
Lastly. my own player (not the one you’re scripting for) will need to pass through the field of view of the aimbot / sentry now and then, so a simple way of disabling it and enabling it would be required, ideally by reading and interpreting the messages which appear on-screen to all players (using a code word / password for example)
Like I say, the price is negotiable and I’m happy to help with additional information if required.
